Diagnosed with Parkinson’s 16 years ago, he lives in Toulouse.

Stage of the disease: quite advanced. Also suffers from cognitive disorders.

How did you meet Sebastien and Jordan ?

I met them for the first time at a meeting of France Parkinson in Toulouse. Among other things, they broadcast the video of a patient moving first without the device and then with the device.

What do you think of current treatments ?

I cannot benefit from any brain surgery, including neurostimulation, as I am diabetic and suffering from memory disorders.

Drug treatments were quite efficient at the beginning but I have been sick for 16 years so by now drugs have reached their limits and it is clearly felt. Today their efficiency is much lower.

When you have been told that such a device existed, what was your reaction ?
Did you believe it ? Have you been suspicious ?

I wasn’t particularly suspicious as right now there is no offer to solve the problem of freezing. However freezing really puts me into big trouble indeed. So, when I have been told about this device and its real effectiveness on this symptom, I thought: let’s go for it !

As a patient suffering from Parkinson’s, which are your symptoms ?

I suffer a lot from freezing with this feeling of being grounded at times. It’s a very random symptom that may occur sometimes.
I also have many stiffness and I feel very tired with the accumulation of such symptoms.

What did you do during the test ?

Once Walkme was set, I was able to kick a ball as if nothing had happened. I could also run.
However, I must confess… that just before I had taken my medication so may be it helped a little bit.

What was your feeling ? How did you feel ?

I was feeling very comfortable with my body.

Regarding your relatives what was their reaction ?

My daughter-in- law, present on that day and with a very suspicious mind, was really amazed by the effects of the device.

Did you make any remark, did you give any advice to Sebastien and Jordan after using WalkMe in order to improve its effectiveness and so that they can meet your needs ?

I did not make any special remark. I am well aware that it is brand new and it hasn’t been much tested as it should be.

However when I told my neurologist about it, she was furious. According to her, nobody knows the adverse events of such a device. She fears that Sébastien and Jordan to be charlatans. I sent them her phone number so that they can contact her and convince her. (OFF).

How do you intend to use the device ?
Daily ? From time to time ?

I am looking forward to the release of WalkMe but I prefer not to project myself.I have tried it for only 5 minutes. I know nothing of its efficiency in the long run. Anyway, Sebastien and Jordan have promised me that if I was not satisfied after one week, they would totally refund me.
